Baby makes 20: Michelle Duggar announces she’s pregnant again

Undaunted by health challenges of her last pregnancy, matriarch Michelle Duggar says she’s expecting baby number 20.

Number 20, guys.

Didn’t both she and baby #19 nearly die during the pregnancy and subsequent childbirth?

At least it’s a round number?

Despite what beliefs she might have, she has to know and feel in her heart that this is grossly negligent. I would never, ever do something to put one of my loved ones in danger, much less my child. If your belief system is to not use protection and let it be “God’s will” then I think you should just stop having sex. Sorry. No sex for the rest of my life is well worth not dying and leaving my children without a mother, or risking bringing a life into this world who ultimately dies from my poor judgement. 

Maybe I’m being dramatic, but when someone tells you “Don’t drink and drive, you might kill yourself and/or someone else” we all know that while there isn’t a GUARANTEE someone will die, the odds are pretty tremendous and it leaves us with the impression that HEY, maybe this is a stupid thing to do. I’m not really seeing the difference in these two scenarios, except for the fact that the other person you might kill is your own child, which I would imagine would be incredibly worse. 

I am a Christian and while I believe in God, I don’t believe in blindly leaving everything ~in his hands~ while I make poor decisions because I can always rely on him. Trust me, a God in any religion expects you to be responsible for yourself and your actions.
